I think you already saw a lot of interface design. Please think about it again. Our whole life is occupated by interfaces. The fancy coffee machines have interfaces. Your phone, cars, e-book readers have interfaces to communicate with you. Those types of interfaces where things are just kind of all over the place. We figured out how to make user interfaces look fine and function reasonably well.
